heard terms 1SO: 9001, QS: 9000 more than often. During your
industrial visits also you might have taken a close look
at the quality certification of Host Company hanged at prominent
positions throughout the plant. Led by the Japanese companies
all over the world quality has become the buzzword. Every
organization was found striving to get optimum possible quality
for their products. Big multinational companies implemented
various quality initiatives in their factories and expected
their vendors/suppliers to follow suite as they are treated
as an extended facility of buying company. These companies
being spread globally and vendors located in all the prominent
